Sunday, Monday + Tuesday
For our final three days we traveled out to Buena Vista, CO for a white water rafting trip and overnight camping trip. The teepee’s each went rafting on the Arkansas River in Brown’s Canyon National Monument and also enjoyed several hours of solo time near our campsite to pray, relax and take in the beauty of God’s creation. Monday night the boys also enjoyed an Italian Night put on by the sherpa. They watched skits, ate pasta and sang songs until late into the night! Then Tuesday we finished up our nine days with Mass at Longview, overlooking the mountains and closed with our parent ceremony in Basecamp.
