Colorado Adventure
Join us as a couple, or solo for an adventure in the Rockies. We’ll get a sneak peek at the goings on around Camp W from afar without impeding on the camper experience. There will be time for adoration, quiet reflection, hiking to beautiful vistas, community time involving tasty camp meals, and an off-site Estes Park climbing adventure. The gear included will be a tent, cot, sleeping bag and dishes. If you feel more comfortable using your own camping gear, that is completely fine. Harnesses and helmets will be provided by our KMAC guides during our Via Ferrata adventure in Estes Park. All other personal gear should be brought by you, and we will provide a list to help you pack.
Washington Adventure
Join Wander with Wojtyla as we wander beyond the beauty of the Rockies. There will be no time needed to adjust to elevation as we set out for the San Juan Islands of Washington State. We'll enjoy the beauty of Cypress Island Marine Reserve camping right near the sea. Father will paddle too so you'll have time for mass and confession in the beauty of the islands.
The trip officially runs from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. Anacortes, our jumping off point is 2 hours away from the SeaTac airport. You'll need to allow a day of travel on both ends.
No kayaking experience is necessary. All kayaking gear and camping gear, including tent and insulated thermarest sleeping pad, will be provided. Sleeping bags may be rented for an additional $35 fee if you choose not to fly with one. You'll be responsible for your personal gear and we will provide a list to help you pack.
Come explore the wonders of the sea as we adventure Camp Wojtyla style in a whole new place. We'll see you on the water!
