Extreme Expeditions: High School Guys
*Entering 9th-departing Seniors
This option features three pinnacle Colorado adventure experiences--a backcountry rock climbing trip, a high alpine summit attempt up one of Colorado's 13,000 ft peaks, and whitewater rafting down one of Colorado's top stretches of river. Living out of Teepees for the entire week at our 1200 acre wilderness base camp, each camper will also have daily outdoor Mass, experience an amazing night of adoration and confession, wilderness solo time, grow in their outdoor skills such as archery and fly fishing and experience incredible all-camp competitions!
In this advanced, limited capacity option, you will enter into the backcountry of the Indian Peaks Wilderness or Rocky Mountain National Park for a multi day backpacking expedition with eight other campers. You'll learn backcountry cooking skills, wilderness survival techniques and be challenged by mountaineering summit attempts. You'll also experience solo time and a mountaintop Mass. Six day options are available for those entering 9th through 10th grade, and nine day options are available for those entering 11th through departing 12th grade. The nine day option for incoming 11th graders through departing 12th graders will end with a trip to Buena Vista for white water rafting on the Arkansas River.
